Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ

Went here with a couple of friends. We opted for AYCE since the price for the dinner options aren’t that different anyway. The server was really on top of things, especially when we were having issues with our grill. The selection was great, lots of different options. It’s definitely on the more expensive side of AYCE BBQ in town, but worth it for the array of meats.

We went there for the $20 lunch special, With the $20 lunch special, you will get rice, salad, miso soup and 3 meats of your choice, the price is already really good, so we didn't expect it will be a good portion of the meat. But it turned out the meat portion is more than enough (picture is 2 order). . Service only 4 stars because it was a busy hour and they only have one server working the whole time, so from waiting to be seated to order and everything tend to wait for awhile before you get a server, so we are lucky that we were not in a rush, but the server was nice.

Our go-to spot for Japanese BBQ! Whenever we’re craving Japanese BBQ, this is our place to go. The food is always excellent and full of flavor, and the drinks are just as great. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance is cozy and inviting. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality Japanese BBQ experience!

Gyu-Kaku is the perfect place if you love grilling your own meats right at the table. We went with the All You Can Eat option, and the portion sizes were just right — enough to try a variety without feeling overwhelmed. The service was excellent and the staff were super friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and it’s always fun to watch your food sizzle on the grill. If you’re looking for a great dining experience that’s interactive, satisfying, and delicious, this is it. Highly recommend!

Food was absolutely amazing! Came here for my friend’s birthday and had noted it in the reservation. They surprised us with a complimentary cake and even a singing robot! The matcha cake was out of this world. Everything was so tender, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely a 10/10 experience!

Such great experience, really. Customer service was top notch, food tasted good and seasoning used on some of the meat was really good. I was surprised by the portions, thought i might not get satisfied but it did. I wanna go again.

HIGHLY recommend. As per a few people's recommendations, my partner and I went with the "all you can eat" option. Between the two of us and having water only, it turned out to be $107, tip included. While many would consider this to be a liiiittle pricier, the volume of food available compensates. Keep in mind that you only have 90 minutes (last call 20min prior to end) to eat, so if you eat slowly, the volume bonus doesn't apply. I recommend getting a reservation - it was quite busy. This is experience is VERY user friendly - the staff will provide timing recomendations for food, as well as menu recomendations. You don't need to be a chef to eat here, the grills were very forgiving - I overcooked the meat a few times and between the sauces, quality of ingredients and open flame cooking... still tasted like flavour town. This was such a fun experience and good for all ages - there was even a baby! I can't recommend this enough.

We had the all you can eat menu! The portions are great it is hard to over order, super amazing options! Very fresh and tasty. The garlic noodles were exquisite. We had ice cream for desert and it didn’t disappoint. Our server Ava was very knowledgeable and friendly, always smiling. Highly recommend this place!
